Hello my name is Lauren Jimenez. I am a Los Angeles based makeup and special FX artist. My interest in makeup started by watching movies especially the horror genre. Even though I love making people scary and gory, I love to make women and men look their best selves. I started my makeup career by doing makeup for various plays in my high school theater class. I studied at E.I. School of Professional Makeup from June 2013 to May 2014. From attending E.I. I learned the various degrees of makeup artistry such as Beauty, Theater, High Fashion, Special FX, Television and Film.

I love collaborating with models, photographers, stylists, brands, businesses, athletes or anyone willing to contribute their time into creating something creative, beautiful, inspiring or scary. I'm always open to new ideas and I want to get my hands on as much as possible. When I'm not working on set, I like to spend my free time surrounding myself with all types of artistry. I'm always reading and researching about new products, new trends and new techniques whether it’s from beauty to special FX.
