I am a portrait photographer that occasionally makes use of models when experimenting with a new look, a new technique or new equipment. I find it is often helpful to deal with a pro in these situations rather than a client, as it allows me to focus on the task at hand rather than spending a lot of time keeping the subject engaged while I work out the finer details.

I have been doing portraiture and sports photography for several years now, and while my clients always appear happy with the work, I am never really satisfied. There's always something else I could have done, could have learned first or been more capable of dealing with during the shoot.
