My connection with photography began as a hobby. At first limited by the cumbersome aspects of film, it really took off about a decade ago when digital photo technology was perfected.

I enjoy taking portraits of people. I believe there is a beauty in everyone. My goal as a photographer is to bring that beauty out in everyone, to find the highlights of their personality and to let it all be shown.

I have a job that takes me back and forth between the coasts.  I have been going to weekend shoots near my base in the DC area and in Cali when I’m there. The travel has proved a real blessing as it allows me  to access a wide variety of shooting environments and subjects.

I'm joining here to have a place to post some of the work and to connect with other photographers and models.
