I am all about having fun making art out of light and shadows. I am on the quest of the perfect photo. Some of my work is done for clients and some of the work is my own. I get a chance being creative, trying out scenes,special lighting or a concept or idea that appeared briefly in a thought and now I want to create it in the camera.
I absolutely love working with people. The life that occurs in a photo and the enjoyment that follows is the creative juice that motivates me.
Sometimes it is finding a field of flowers, a 100+ year old recycled bay window , a shallow lake or a waterfall, or old barn or bale of hay. These things, and others, start me looking for a model or a client and a scene that will send me on the path toward a photo session or two (or more).
After decades in the business and sports world I am thrilled to have added an artistic outlet to my life. Come have fun with me.
I will work for clients to get them the shots they want and set them up for each and every use.
I will trade for photos. My time, equipment and session vs your time and smiling face. Usually a fair trade.
I will hire the right model for the right job. At times, some clients want a hired model for the right shot.. Sometimes there is a need to model jewelry or to do a commercial session.
I can be contacted by phone text or email.. Voice mail is a very poor fourth choice. I seem to have another business or two that I run and may be busy at the moment you make contact, please lease some message.
I have a studio in the greater Tacoma area and I'm almost always looking to shoot. I dearly love new scenes, or situations. That very much includes new models in an old scene.
I think I have a great deal of patience to work with new and newer models to help them build a portfolio. Most every model needs to shoot with a variety of photographers to build a usable portfolio.
Come shoot with me. We will have fun, produce a few memorial shots and more than a few memories.
