I am new to photography and yet I have been in it a long time. I first got into photography at the age of 11, using a then brand-new Nikon F camera, the leader of it's day. I kept active in photography for about the next 15 years, then drifted away from it.

Fast forward to the digital age, when I began to play around a little with a Sony digital about 10 years ago. I then started editing photos using GIMP for my wife who is an avid animal photographer. After years of mostly being the person behind the scenes, I decided in 2015 to become the person behind the lens, once again. I got a Nikon D3200, PhotoShop, and Lightroom to give me the chance to produce professional-quality photographs.

Now I have been doing a combination of model shoots based on my own themes, such as two series based on the Dryads and Sirens of Greek Mythology. I have also been doing shoots for a local company's magazine ads, and for models wishing to expand their portfolios. As I am still building a new portfolio at this time, I am willing to do TFP shoots for models who wish to do likewise. I like input from models on ideas for shoots that THEY want to do, as I believe any person does their best work when they are working on something they believe in, and are enjoying the process.

I currently do most of my shoots with natural lighting, with occasional use of fill flash or reflectors. I especially enjoy outdoor shoots, but the world is my studio, indoors and out.
