I've been working as a film colourist since 2010, starting on student films, working my way up to indie films, social videography, and corporate. I've used most colour grading software : Apple Color, Speedgrade, DaVinci Resolve, colour graded in the native editing software as well. It's more about theory than software, and I feel pretty confident in my understanding of what makes a good colour grade.

I usually work on-set as a camera assistant, and I have worked with everything from an old school film camera, DSLRs, GoPros, cinema cameras like Alexas/Reds. I have casting and directing experience, but I honestly prefer to be a technician.

I've been doing photo retouching as a hobbyist since the early 2000s. I'm interested in doing it professionally, so I'm working on creating a portfolio and connecting with photographers. My problem in the past has been that I only kept the final image, deleted the original photo and any working files, and likewise - I haven't had access to professional, portfolio-worthy photography. I have the skills, but no means to prove them. It's time to make it happen.

Absolutely all my work is done by my hands and eyes. I use no filters, default presets, plugins or cheap tricks (eg. no Magic Bullet Colorista). I try make my work tasteful - no plastic skin, no over smoothing, no muddy colour grades. I genuinely have a passion for colour grading and retouching, an enthusiasm for improving the presentation of a photographic image.
