Good day beautiful people, and welcome to "A Different Shade of Grey" - Fine Art black & white film Portraiture.

I shoot film, process it and make my own prints in the darkroom. Because photography for me is a tangible art form. All the images here on MM are scans of 8X10's that I have photographed and printed myself.

I am leaning towards specializing in the formal portrait. Ball gowns, wedding gowns, suites and tuxedos all in a classic style that honors the masters of portraiture that have come before us.

It has taken me quite some time to figure myself out as an artist. I started out as a musician before photography. Wedding, family portraits and promos is where I started before rushing off into the world commercial and fashion. But I really enjoy the portrait session the best. Regular people getting dressed up in their best and I get to help them look their best. Beauty begets beauty!!

My current goals, of 2016 and beyond, is to spend my time developing a portrait business. I'm no longer doing "model shoots" - as they say. My intention is to create wall portraits. And who knows, maybe it would fit perfectly into your modeling portfolio. Because what I am in need of are "Portrait Models." So...
