In the1980's i was a child and school photographer, in the 90's i moved to weddings, ad work and commercial photography. In 1999 i found my niche in Manhattan with pet and people photography which i have been doing for the the past years all over the world including New York, Las Vegas and Amsterdam Holland. I am really tired of traveling and although i love the pets i work with I miss photographing people and telling stories in my images that are relatable. I am here at Model Mayhem to find models of all kinds that like to be photographed and enjoy being in front of the camera so I can refine my style and and continue learning. My focuses is on personality, emotion and story telling not creating images that people simply ogle at as the market seems to be flooded with sexy images that everyone loves to look at but very few real people can obtain and I would argue that there are no perfect images without Photoshop. Coming from the film error i strive to do more with lighting, posing and technique (which takes more time) then Photoshop although i do use it to remove blemishes and other things that distract from the primary subject of an image and to enhance. I have a working studio a good reputation and still make my living with pets and photography.
