My name is Daniel Oke. I was born and raised in the DMV but have a strong Nigerian ethnic background.

I was always told to find something I have a strong passion for, practice at it, perfect it and make my mark in it!! Even though I am not perfect, I have been told that my work does reflect my years of practice, dedication as well as a unique and creative eye.

My love of Photography I would say was born in high school when it was just a hobby and we were still developing film. I would buy 4 or 5 disposable cameras, go to the DC monuments or landscapes of interest hoping for just a couple of unique and properly exposed images to be proud of enough to show to my friends. But when technology advanced to the digital era, a hobby quickly advanced to a passion. An image became a story that I always was striving to capture and still am striving to capture at each "click" today.

My work experience spans from covering events (social events, parties, baby/bridal showers), portraiture (group or single person), modeling, and weddings (traditional and white).
