I am a driven, hard working creative professional who loves the outdoors, photography and design. I have spent the last 10 years as a graphic designer, creating branding, graphics, apparel and 3D renderings for small startups, fortune 500 companies and a lot in between. I got my creative start in my home state of Wisconsin designing print graphics and 3D renderings for a large trade show display house but an opportunity to design apparel in San Diego was one that changed the course of my career and life significantly. I spent 7 years working as a designer in Southern California enjoying the sun, surf and delicious burritos when I decided to take a second job moonlighting at a wedding photography studio to learn more about professional photography, there I cut my teeth editing and second shooting thousands of images at over 40 weddings. In the years following I would learn even more about myself as a person and photographer, shooting projects on Los Angeles beaches, mountains in Colorado, jungles in Cambodia and have shot commercial projects for outdoor brands like Orvis, Himali, 168 Eyewear and C.A.M.P.

Volunteering has been a rewarding experience throughout my life and I have done design and photography for non profits in Haiti, Costa Rica, Panama and Africa. While volunteering on a project in Kenya I met my partner Kellie, who happened to be the founder of the school I was in Africa to shoot. After a month working together in Kenya we decided to stay together when we returned to the states. We spent 2 years living in Durango Colorado where Kellie was a nurse and I shot weddings before she took a travel nurse position and we hit the road. We love being outside and spend almost all of our free time fly fishing, camping, climbing, hiking, or road tripping in the vintage travel van we built together. I design and illustrate on a freelance basis and shoot commercial photo projects as often as I can. Kellie and I are currently living in Mammoth Lakes, CA where we will be spending the next 6 months before looking at the next possible move or place to settle down.
