I am photography student attending the Art Institutes specializing in commercial and advertising photography. I have been shooting a lot of product photography but I'm interested in expanding on the content matter I shoot, incorporating people into my work. Recently, I did an assignment that required me to rebrand a product; I chose Ray Ban. In one of the photos, I featured a woman wearing the sunglasses in order to put the product in context. This is what I would like to do more of. I have honed my lighting skills, using multiple light sources and modifiers in order to accentuate physical features of my models. I am looking to work with new people in order to develop my posing techniques. I hope to better my directing skills, ultimately allowing me to become a more sophisticated portrait photographer.
