Lately I have been doing a lot of acting - I currently do a lot of promo acting work for Troma as a Tromette (Tromanda) teehe ;P

This is my first time using Model Mayhem, although I have been doing art modeling, acting in strange films, my own performance art, working as a costume gal at parties, and all sorts of things for over 10 years now.

I also work as a stylist ;) just in case you need one of those.

You can find a little bit more about me down below - I may be weird and gothy and fairytale-ey, but I also can do conventional looks, and all sorts of acting.
I am well acquainted with assisting in art pieces, whether live, on film, or anything else.

I am willing to travel to the location - so long as my travel expenses are paid for.
At this time, I am looking only for paid gigs - although I may make exceptions if I really love the project.

Some of my Bio/Past Accomplishments

Amanda Flowers' work is influenced by early years growing up in a Victorian bed and breakfast in Kennebunkport Maine, and the dark underworld of New York City.
Through performance, sculpture, and mixed media designs, she draws from isolated fantasies and magical obscurities to create a modern mythology that seeks to destroy neurotic barriers between people, create beauty, and challenge modern forms of communication.
In 2008 she made her performance debut acting in a piece by internationally acclaimed artist Krzysztof Zarebski, and later was inducted to his performance trio The Assembly.
In 2010 she received a congressional honor for creating the first monthly art walk in Staten Island’s North Shore with her then partner and co-curator Brendan Coyle.
Together they ran The Assembly Room, a grassroots gallery and performance space located in their humble Staten Island residence.

Now years later, the art walk is still going strong - all on its own!

My artwork and performance uses elaborate costuming with vivid colors on fanciful and sometimes horrific characters. These characters are then placed in very stark or elaborately beautiful and futile situations where they interact by performing surreal mirrors of regular human interaction.

The main influence for my work comes from characters I imagined and interacted with as a child, along with Victorian era writing, clothing and early religious paintings.
Through performance and visual art I hope to show people a fantastic world where they will realize the futility of their human ego and fear, and to embrace love, passion and supreme honesty.
