Born in 1990 in upstate New York, Deven began studying photography in high school. In that time, she mentored with prominent photographers Kareem Black, and Matt Salacuse.
In 2008 she began studying as a photography major at The Fashion Institute of Technology. In addition to course work and shooting for modeling agencies, Deven's work has been featured by the designer, Lawless Accessories.
