The Cheri A Ellis womenswear label is based in Seattle Washington.

I am a fashion designer currently printing my artwork onto fabric, creating pieces that are story telling. My focus has been to create work that is highly wearable, that fine line between lovely originality and the comfort in clothing that just feels really good to wear both dressed up and casually.

My collections always a few fantasy pieces, some street wear cotton easy wear dresses and skirts, and then have a story dress theme in the remaining work.

I've spent the last 2 years developing a very special project, which I am now launching into the world. I have been painting about the BEES, several different creative BEE designs, all telling stories about the BEE and it's incredible lifestyle. The project began with the idea of creating awareness around Colony Collapse Disorder (the BEES disappearing) , but in the end they just made me fall in love with them .... they are the muses of my creative world!

I love to photograph my own work! It allows me to archive all my work easily, and present it with the style I resonate. I look forward to doing more photographic collaborations with photographers who can take it to another level, and be able to have creative freedom without needing to photograph a collection.
