Ever since I can remember I’d always had a funny feeling about cameras and posing in front of a camera. When I was younger, I did not know if these feelings were simple curiosity or passion for modeling, now I know that what I feel is passion. I recently started to get minor modeling gigs and I know that even though the opportunities I’ve gotten so far are not huge I am extremely thankful for what’s been presented to me. The gigs I’ve gotten so far have helped me develop a sense of comfort whenever I’m in front of the lenses of a camera and the feeling I get when I do photo shoots is like no other I’ve ever felt before. I remember my friends trying to convince me to learn more about the modeling world and the opportunities that I could be presented with, I remember doubting myself and thinking that the world “model” could not possibly apply to me. Now that I am 21 years old I know that I was wrong, now I know that I have the emotional and psychological maturity to do what I really want to do and become a part of a world that until recently was completely unknown to me.
