Leilanni (lay-lah-nee) was born and raised outside of Toronto to an artistic mother and Elvis impersonating father (yes, it’s true). After attending the Ontario College of Art & Design for art direction, she furthered her studies in Florence, Italy.

Leilanni's started her career as an art director in the advertising world. But soon realized she wanted to create beautiful products as well as market them. Eager to learn as much about the fashion trade, Leilanni began to work for various designers in the city. She began selling vintage apparel online and quickly moved to designing ready-to-wear to luxury wedding gowns and even theatrical costumes for some of the cities best known celebrity personalities, Leilanni quickly began to make her mark. For 2013 she produced a full line of women's ready-to-wear selling both online and in stores. Her latest venture, The Yes! Project is a swimwear line produced with emerging artists from all over the world.
