Hi, I’m Emma and I am a qualified freelance Makeup Artist. After travelling through Europe, I developed a passion for theatre. In order to further develop my skills, I studied makeup artistry and achieved a diploma with experience in the various aspects of makeup and hair styling ranging from fashion, makeup for special occasions, body painting, and special effects for both Film, Theatre and TV.

My passion began with theatre, film special effects and the techniques used to create realistic bruising and hobbit feet. I loved how makeup is an art of transformation. Whether it’s turning an actor into a cinematic character or creature, creating a glamorous version of someone for an event, evening out, wedding, or just to make them feel that little bit special.

In all aspects of my work I approach with artistic creativity, forever seeking the best finish and outcome. I have experience in painting and photography, which contributes to my knowledge of texture and colour, giving me insight into cinematographic needs.
