Just noticed that I had not updated my profile in over two years....

Two and half years ago, I finished college and relocated back to my hometown after being away for 17 years. I opened a portrait studio and loved it...at first. I love photography, but I absolutely hated the business end of photography. It absolutely sucked 100% of the passion of out me. My photographs began to resemble a production line.

I canned the business (for the most part). I closed my studio and took on a full time job. I still take portrait jobs for extra cash, but since I don't need the cash, I only take the jobs I want. I will never again photograph an ugly baby or fat bride. Yes, I'm shallow...I'm okay with that.

Since moving back to northern Michigan, I have had exactly one shoot that originated from Model Mayhem. Not sure why I keep this account, but I do.

I have a portfolio full of pretty women, portraits, studio nudes, etc. My free time is very valuable to me, so lets do something original and interesting. Don't bore me with the mundane and cliche.
