General Info:
Based in Salinas, regularly working in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties, and looking for other local talent and others visiting in the Central Coast area.

Imaginative and collaborative: able to coach some finer points of posing but also willing to experiment with you and "see what this looks like." Whether my project or yours, though, I try to communicate a clear idea of where we're starting, and the flexibility of technique and skill that allows us to adventure onward from there. (I'm also obsessive about knowing and honoring your boundaries and preferences.)

Compensation:
I pay, get paid, or trade services, depending on who initiates the project, and who is best benefited by the results. Generally I'm available on a trade basis for brief two-hour location shoots between other weekday responsibilities. Not only those shoots are negotiable, but I am also open to trading business, family, couples, and individual photography in return for signed model-releases. This builds up the stock-photography portfolio made available for royalty sales.

Other Stuff:
Escorts? Very helpful as human light-stands, in my opinion. And especially for a first shoot with a new acquaintance, preferable.
Substance use/abuse? Nope. Safety first. "Nothing ruins a good photo-shoot faster than a trip to the ER." Even in the most carefully organized studio, there are plenty of trip-hazards. On location...too easy to misstep even when we're fully in possession of our faculties.
MUAH? I'm looking for your natural, minimally-made-up face and hair. If we talk about a high-fashion concept, though, we can shop around or I'm open to your suggestions, if there's an artist with whom you prefer to work.
Wardrobe? Some of my best shoots were with models clothed from the nicer racks at Goodwill. Others have had specific outfits in which they knew they looked great. And a few have been high-fashion, glamorous, celebratory, and/or deeply personal outfits, including birthday-suits.
