I started out on my journey of living a healthy life style long ago. I had found a love for fitness early on in life. I was always considered athletic, playing soccer, gymnastics, dance – you name it, I did it or at least gave it a try. As I grew into later adulthood, I made the commitment to myself to incorporate daily gym training into my daily life. I began to eat clean, and learned everything I could about diet and nutrition. As these lifestyle changes became part of my daily routine, I was amazed at how my body began to transform, and how my overall sense of well being improved dramatically. It was hard work – probably the hardest thing I had ever done in my life. It is also the most worthwhile commitment I have ever made. The life style change that took place and the mental and physical rewards are things I never would have been able to achieve had it not been for the commitment I made to my goal of fitness. My goals now are to help others, both by imparting the knowledge I have gained and also by helping people on their own journeys towards bettering their own bodies and minds. I would love to eventually write a guide concerning healthy eating habits and the training regimes that have helped me along the way. Competing has also been something that has long been on my mind, but I believe I still have more work to do before I am ready to give it competition the full reverence and 100 percent dedication I believe it requires to succeed in that arena. I have done some modelling in the past and am very open to doing more, and hope that Model Mayhem will help me put my face out there more, as I am interested in many different genres of modelling, as well as being a makeup artist myself and having an appreciation for the art form itself and what goes into the industry itself, behind the scenes. Photography is also a huge passion.
