Rachel Lopez was born and raised in one of the epicenters for art, New York City. Surrounded by a family of singers and musicians, Rachel sought to find her own niche within the arts. She began exploring creativity in many ways, from singing to dancing and ultimately, makeup. She discovered that she loved using her hands and imagination to create unique artistic designs.
During her teenage years, Rachel fell in love with horror, gore and the special creations designed for and/or in that genre. She delved into the research of special effects makeup, using friends and family as her canvas. Soon thereafter, Rachel knew that she wanted to take her hobby and turn it into a career. She became consistently intentional about expanding her knowledge in artistry to become the best.
In order to perfect her craft, Rachel attended Makeup Designory in New York. It was there that she learned everything from Beauty to Special Effects Makeup. Rachel strives to become a better artist each day and continues to educate herself. Although, she desires to own her own business one day, her current focus is to provide clients, not only make up in excellence, but also with an experience. Rachel believes the pursuit of her passion has not only produced results, but continued success with a steady stream of both loyal and new clients.
