I am a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based photographer who recently moved here from Los Angeles. I have been commissioned by journals both here and abroad to make memorable portraits of the ordinary and the famous – creators and intellectuals among them. I create a compelling, non-literal visual story to accompany the writer’s text, blending color and artifact to reveal the subject’s virtues, while leaving some things properly to the viewer’s imagination… Between assignments, I work on personal projects to stretch my technical and creative muscles, and to enhance my understanding of humanity.
From time to time I need to hire and work with models on both commissioned and personal assignments, and for this reason I'm applying to become a model mayhem member.
