My name is Lori and I am a portrait artist and educator.
I have owned and operated 2 boutique studio in South Carolina, close to the North Carolina border. However, I have now relocated to Charleston, SC and have not re-opened a commercial studio space again although I still have all of my equipment and am completely mobile. I travel throughout NC, SC, and GA to conduct sessions and train aspiring photographers and artists.

I am a very creative individual and have had a passion for all art and photographing people is just one of my many creative outlets. I studied photography formally at Winthrop University and with professional photography associations, such as; PPA, PPofNC, & PPofSC and few other smaller ones. I am presently a certified professional photographer with the PPA. I mostly specialized in babies, children, maternity, and families in my own studio work but personally and creatively enjoy many other styles of portrait work. The past couple of years I have expanded into the world of digital painting and organizing more themed photo sessions.

I continually strive to learn and perfect my skills. I am always looking to diversify and add new images to my portfolio. If you decide to work with me in a class/ workshop setting, I do offer payments depending on your skill level and the requirements and/ or arrangements.

I have been working as a professional photographer since 2004 and began organizing and instructing photographers within a group called Portrait Photography Group, in 2010. I am currently searching for models (both guys and girls) for our group events. The events with our Portrait Photography Group often consists of 6-30 photographers at one location and often several models. Most of these events are on a TF basis, but well worth the models time due to the sheer number and variety coming from so many photographers. Payments are arranged in some cases.
