Zarina Heron is a passionate photographer born in Australia and raised in Amsterdam and a lover of Landscape and Live Concert photography. For Zarina, capturing a moment in time through photography is just as important as experiencing those moments in real time. The images we capture are there for us to look back on, allowing us to relive the moments and experiences at any time and share them with others.
As Zarina's father and older sister have a love for the Visual Arts, inspiring creativity has always surrounded her. Zarina grew up in Europe and spent most of her childhood admiring the most beautiful sites of the world. This sparked her interest in photography, as everywhere she went she was always taking little snapshots on her disposable camera to remind her of the places she had been and to share those moments with friends and family.

As soon as she finished the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and had the chance to delve into her photography studies, she decided to buy her own camera and take two short courses studying an Introduction to Photography and Digital Video Projects. This allowed her to not only learn so much more about the art of photography but experiment and explore the world through still images and film.

Since then, Zarina has explored even more of the world and had her camera as her companion taking photos of anything and everything that caught her eye. As this is a huge passion of hers, she hopes to continue doing this for the rest of her life.
