I see jewelry as a tangible narrative of experience. It holds memories and elevates daily life by imparting a spirited bravery and beauty to the wearer. Worn throughout history, it speaks volumes about the wondrous traditions and beliefs of humankind. My work is an exploration of contrasts-precious and primitive, refined and rough, dainty and dynamic. I like how metal and textiles are recorders of the effects of time, both becoming deeper in character as life presents its inevitable tarnish and fade. I am drawn to the rhythm that repeating forms, like links in a chain or a fabric’s geometric pattern create to become visual mantras. I like to breathe new life into old materials in order to build something fresh and exciting, yet that still bears an aura of antiquity. I am thankful to have such a strong drive to create and to live a life awash in endless inspiration.

All of my designs are handmade by me with lots of love and integrity. Most pieces are one of a kind or limited edition. I use fabric that I have collected from my travels and am particular about using sustainably sourced materials whenever possible.
