I am interested in employing the human figure as a way to express contemporary issues, as well as a means to celebrate the inspiration i find in the world. I wish to display my subjects as active players in existence rather than as mere objects, as well as a metaphorical vehicle to communicate on a deeper than skin level. The human body has long been looked upon by artists and philosophers as the most beautiful form in existence. This is a notion I wish to preserve and continue to elevate through the act of painting.
