I have been out of the industry for a bit, and am looking to update my portfolio. I am currently looking for TFP models to get me back into the swing of things.

For the longest time I considered myself to be a “hobbyist” photographer with a focus on nature and landscape. In 2018, I took a workshop on ‘Urban Ballet’ and pretty much fell in love with the juxtaposition created by the models and the more industrial settings.

Unpopular opinion time folks! If you, as a model, reach out to a photographer for a shoot, you should expect to pay the photographer. Seriously, if you go to the hair salon, do you expect them to pay you for a haircut? Do you expect the restaurant to pay you to eat there, the tattooist to pay you for their work? Why does this industry seem to be of the opinion that models always have to be paid for their time, but the photographers don't?
