My name is Kristen Bowen. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. My passions are modeling and dancing. Dancing is something I do for fun, but modeling is one that I held on to. Growing up was very hard for me. I started runway modeling with Frank Fluker and the River City Models at a very young age. As I grew older, modeling became something I that I clung to because it healed me in more ways than others could imagine. I battled with low-self esteem and modeling became my way of escape. Taking pictures and struting down the runway became a major part in my life. I say that modeling helped me survive. It helped me find out who I was and what I am most passionate about. During my Freshman Year in college I had the opportunity of modeling for a Memphis Boutique by the name of Eye-Con Couture were I was known as a Eyecandy print model. I enjoyed every moment of that experience because I was able to view modeling in another form. Out of all the dreams I've dreamed, this is one of the ones that I cannot and have not let go. No matter how long the road to success maybe I am willing to take it because I know when God gives you a talent it is in his plan. I am destined for greatness, and I am open to learn more about this profession that I have grown to love. I joined MM in hope to network with positive people who are apart of the industry and are open to sharing great advice, or giving me the opportunity to further educate myself about modeling. I hope to meet professional people who will help me connect with others as I introduce the world to Kristen Bowen the model in a positive light.
