About Me

I fell in love with Photography over 27 years ago when I picked up my fathers Vietnam era SLR and looked through the view finder, I had no idea what all the buttons and levers did but I told myself that I would learn. When I was 13 I had my first exposure to a darkroom and how to develop Black & White film and make prints, it was about a year and a half after that that I began to study photography in school and stuck with it for 4 years learning as much as I could about all the pioneers that made photography what it is, a great study of Art and Science. Learning the language of photography is an ongoing practice that never leaves you, the technology may change but the art is going to stay the same and how to create what's in your mind's eye is always going to be the challenge.
