As a child and young adult, I sketched and painted in oil and watercolor. I was an art major in college and eventually became an art teacher at the high school level. As a result of my love of theatre, every year I worked as a scenic designer in summer stock. I eventually started to design corporate events and opened my own studio to fabricate scenery. For many years I used a computer for drafting and to create digital models of sets. At this time of my life I am now trying to get in touch with my fine arts roots. I want to concentrate on drawing and painting the male figure. I need lots of practice!
