As the education and creative director, Kathy Simon utilizes her unique artistic vision and structural philosophy to train students, oversee daily operations, and produce educational videos (for which he has received the Telly award). She is also the North American Artistic Director of Essential Looks for Schwarzkopf Professional.

Kathy Simon is recognized for 27 years of invaluable contributions to the hair styling industry, and offers at her studio in Montreal, high-quality education services, such as the Mekka System of Education, which is a unique approach to teaching the art and science of structural hair design.

She has been invited to conduct numerous presentations across North America and worldwide, presenting distinguished hair education and current trends. She was just seen working on Betsy Johnson's Fashion show, held in New York for Fashion Week 2014.
