Life is made up of moments; some forgettable, and others, that burn in your mind’s eye forever.

I once saw an elderly woman, disheveled, with snow-white hair, sitting on the steps of Paris’s grand church, Sacré-Cœur. I didn’t take that photograph, but I’ve never forgotten the photograph I should have taken.

Since then, my photography has been about capturing moments. Those single, unforgettable, moments in time; that ephemeral beauty that we all experience everyday but take for granted.

A photograph, frozen in time, helps me remember to pause and take time to appreciate those fleeting moments.

My special interests, and favorite subjects, are people and animals. I love to bring out the beauty in the human face and the innocence and trust in the eyes of an animal.
