And has good Transport links to Derby and Nottingham,. The studio is five minutes from the A6 and A38, Junction 28 of the M1 is 15 minutes away.

The Studio.

Martin works from a home studio. A 1200 square foot building with open plan interior and a high pitched ceiling, built as a Joiner’s Workshop in 1934 but perfectly suits its new purpose as a well equipped Digital Studio. "Working from a home studio has been a great benefit to both my clients and my family."

Clients Benefit From: -

Greater Productivity - more time behind the camera, less time in traffic jams.

Creativity - the studio and its location present a more creative environment than the average office or industrial unit.

Costs - lower running costs enable me to be more competitive on price.

Security - as I effectively live on site, your products are more secure.
The environment - zero commute and smaller energy bills have reduced my carbon footprint and so reduce yours too.

Martin shoots Jewellery, Product, Fashion, People and Food at his the studio, but is also happy to bring the studio to you.

All post - production work, clipping paths for cut out images, and retouching work is undertaken in house, from a simple brushing out, or touching in, to complex blending of many exposures and separate images to create stylized or realistic composite images.

About Martin Brown - Infiniti Photography

I have had a love and fascination of the photographic image since the age of eleven when my God Mother gifted me an old camera, a Russian made Zenit E which weighed a ton and leaked light through the back and had to be taped up with insulation tape to prevent the film from fogging.

A couple of years later, with a dent in my shoulder from lugging the Zenit around, I moved up to a Pentax K, started an O level course in Photography. I was introduced to the Darkroom and a life long obsession with light, composition and processing the final image was born.

I studied Professional Photography at Salisbury College of Art and Design for
three years, developing a particular interest in food photography and then moved to London to work as an assistant.

I worked assisting food photographer’s Andrew Whittuck and Martin Brigdale, on some great projects including books for Keith Floyd and Michelle Roux.

Eager for a broader experience in commercial photography I then worked at
Carlton Studios for 3 years in Fashion, Room Set and Still Life Product Photography.

I moved to Derbyshire in the nineties and worked in two Derbyshire based studios before starting Infiniti Photography in 2005.

I believe that good photography is created, not only by looking at your subject, but also feeling it. If you do not feel what you are looking at, then you will never get the viewer to feel anything when they look at your photographs.

There have been many changes in the technology, hardware and software for the photographer during my career, but the most important principles are unchanged and my obsession with the creation of the image is as strong as ever.

If you were to ask me which of my photographs is my favourite, I would say the one I am going to take tomorrow.

Martin Brown.
