koitz photographed Liza Minnelli and Alan Cumming at their triumphant show on Fire Island in the summer 2012; many of the photos were published throughout the US and used for promotion of their Town Hall concert later in NYC.

He also does architecture and interior design photography, as well as portraits, such as the ones he did of Jeff Koons and Marina Abramovic for the Madrid-based cultural publication Ars Magazine.

koitz has covered New York City night life extensively and this led to his working for four years for The Fire Island News, on Fire Island, where he photographed multiple events in both Cherry Grove and Fire Island Pines. This focus on activities and people in the two notably gay communities of Fire Island permitted him unique access to places and moments few outsiders can ever see, and these latest Fire Island photographs of people, places and events are the theme of a new book project.

koitz is always looking for new and interesting male models to photograph. Working on several personal projects, most of them involving male nudity.

koitz calls New York City, Fire Island & Palm Springs home. He also visits Los Angeles and Montreal frequently.
