I love shooting people!

I’m a reading specialist by degree, an educator by training and a photographer at heart. I discovered photography at the tender age of 11 with my first camera, a film C110 (Christmas gift from my parents) to my first digital SLR to digital and I’ve loved it since. I don’t know if I know what I’m doing but if my work speaks to you then I must be doing something right. I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I am a gal that loves taking pictures. Period. Featuring the subjects that I capture, I use natural light as my backdrop. There is nothing more “funner” than capturing the moment through my lens. Getting that dimpled smile or silly outburst of happy emotions is what it’s all about; mixed with the perfect amount of light. My approach is shooting you just as you are. I love real, raw emotion and I shoot from my heart. My passion is creating images that exudes happiness for the viewer. My photography is simple, colorful and fun. It is a pleasure to be part of special moments in others’ lives. My favorite subjects are maternity, boudoir, high school senior and newborn. I came to Model Mayhem in search of these type of models who would like to "trade for" in order to build up my portfolio with these genres.
