Sarah is on a mission, she hopes to teach the basic values of interdependence by focusing on sustainability, our circles of influence and it's supporting values. She aims to inspire critical thinking processes that encourage people to follow their dreams. She is a results-focused and quality-driven professional with eight years of experience in teaching yoga, two years in character work, and she has 15 years of dance experience. Sarah Lotus integrates characters, dancing, fire, acrobatics, aquatics, and multiple hula hoops into her dynamic performances.

As a mermaid Sarah is meeting humans, taking pictures, blowing underwater air rings and underwater bubble hearts, as well as executing back flips and tail flips. She can even dance with fire! Mermaid Sarah hopes that her sightings will help people to realize happiness independent of circumstances. She does this by reminding them that all creatures and habitats are magical and capable of accomplishing their wildest dreams.

Sarah teaches yoga classes in a style that is easy going and designed to honor the traditions of yoga and the student equally. Her practice began in 2003 where she immediately fell in love. Her practice brought her immeasurable joy and direction, so she began teaching in 2007. She first certified to teach through Dana Baptiste. Dana is an excellent teacher and helped Sarah start her yoga education in a style that is balanced and down to Earth. Later she began teaching yoga at Ballet West; to prevent injuries in the dancers, while simultaneously increasing flexibility and strength in their performances. She is focused on continuing her own yoga, fine art, anatomy, physiology, and teaching education as her uppermost priority.

She is currently working towards her AAS. Recently, Sarah had the privilege of taking a professional development courses with Stephen Brown. She received a Certificate of Completion in Teaching Framework and Tools to Foster Depositional Learning and Non-Arts Learning. She took away tools that help her encourage students to learn in a way that not only empowers themselves, but is also a natural process of learning. Sarah Lotus is a passionate mermaid, yogi, dancer, teacher, model, naturalist, and humanitarian that is eager to collaborate with others.
