What started as a photo project in 2009 now represents a cultural following that continues to grow daily. By creating Obsolete Images, I sought to challenge the boundaries of conventional beauty by using alternative models as my subject. In real artistry, shooting nudity is equivalent to photographing a model in his or her most vulnerable and honest state. I follow this ambition by shooting not only professional, but inexperienced models as well in order to document the abstract idea of beauty can be found and captured in all subjects. This experience has allowed me to expand my skills by also specializing in live and promotional photos for bands and performers and travel while doing so. Since the beginning of Obsolete, I have been given the opportunity to get published in The Skinny Dipping Report, shoot clothing for emerging designers, gained a following via social media and work with a multitude of men, women, musicians and models.
