My name is Tracy, I am 26 years old. I am very outgoing, out spoken, spontaneous, all around happy energetic girl. I love being tattooed. I express myself through my work. Really want to know me read my story below. You may want to continue reading and learn this one thing about me!

Some may see me as a girl with a bunch of tattoos that have no meaning to you...... But to me I built my tattoos around people I lost in my life....... The one person that has influenced most of my tattoos is my best friend Ashleigh Christina Wainwright..... Ashleigh passed away January 2nd, 2010 from a long battle of cancer.... Let me tell you the short but BEST story in my life.....

Okay.... It was August 21st 2006 at about 10am that I crossed the quad on Cazenovia College Campus where I stood in the field catching myself looking to my right..... There by the clock sitting on the bench was a girl sitting by herself reading her folder of papers with a winter vest on pink UGG boots and blue quarter sleeve shirt and a jean mini skirt on with her infamous white knitted beanie hat on..... I thought to myself she must be crazy it's so hot out..... I felt this overwhelming feeling to make my way over to Ashleigh and introduce myself....... We began talking and she opened up to me right away about her dad being over seas, her little sister and how much she adored her.... And she told me about her battle with cancer.... I almost cried a couple weeks into college we became so close eating lunch together walking to classes and studying together.......

Then our friendship grew stronger as I became much thinner...... Most people never knew but I would starve myself and there were times where I had almost passed out and became really sick..... But Ashleigh knew, she herself battled the same thing she helped me and she saved my life and helped me turn around and get myself to be healthy again....

From her being a stranger to me and then a few short weeks later became my hero.... I relapsed one time after that we stayed in touch as she left school from becoming ill again and I left Caz...... She was and still is my best friend.... I miss her everyday... she holds me up to this day because when I want to go back to that way of living my mind flashes back to the day I met her and I stop.... I believe it is her way of telling me no I can do it.......


Her passing has really impacted my life and made me come up with these crazy tattoo ideas..... I have a majority of butterflies and flowers on my body... BUTTERFLIES..... they represent being able to fly free and no matter where ever life may take us NOT ONE of us are the same...... The FLOWERS represent that no matter where life plants you.... You have to grow to be beautiful and fight through the weeds of life and stand out among everyone in the wild......


And lastly..... My favorite is the quote on my back.....


"LIVE the life YOU love, LOVE the life you live, stay REAL, stay TRUE, stay GENUINE, and be glad to be you, remember that ever day's a start to something beautiful"


This was the last quote Ashleigh wrote on her Facebook...... And it means the world to me

It means so much to me that her mom and dad put this on the back of Ashleigh's headstone...... It's like we have both have matching tattoos for life on our backs....


SO I ASK YOU......take the time out to meet that one person you in your mind think is crazy...... You never know..... They may save your life one day and become your best friend...... And hold it tight life is to short we never know when it's the last see you later....
