I'm an amateur photographer who has been taking photos for over 30 years. I view my photography as one big exploratory class in artistic expression and capturing the moments of my life and travels. I have no serious interest in selling my work (I'm comfortably retired) but am happy to let any of my subjects use my photos to supplement their portfolio. I like learning and exploring with post production tools. I don't have a professional's patience to set up a shot exactly so, but prefer to shoot from the hip and go where my (ADD) inspiration takes me. I love taking pictures of my kids but my wife has gotten more camera shy as we've gotten older (but you can see a photo of April in my photos). I travel quite a bit and often take up to 2,000 photos a day when I do. I've made over 100 books each one generally better than the last. I have lots of photographic tools but haven't had enough time to master them all. I look forward to the journey. I'm hoping I can get models from Model Mayhem to join me on parts of this journey.
