To say Diane has a passion for hair would be an understatement.

After studying under Aveda’s founder Horst Rechelbacher at the MSP Aveda Institute, Diane decided to become an instructor at the Institute. Teaching, organizing fashion shows, doing hair and editorial work there for the next 8 years. In 2008 she was charged with helping to open the first Aveda Institute in California. First an Instructor, then Director of Education, and finally Institute Director of the SFAI, Diane quickly become leader of the West Coast’s premier Aveda Institute. All this while also working as a platform artist for Aveda; doing in-salon education and fashion shows in the Midwest, Rocky Mountains, and West Coast region with a focus in LA, SF, Seattle, Portland, and Denver.

After 11 years of working with Aveda and reaching its highest positions, Diane needed a new challenge. Finding her inspiration in street fashion, music, photography, and the runway, Diane decided to become a creative director at her own salon.
