I've been photographing subjects on and off for three years. I learned my craft by picking up assistant gigs for more experienced photographers. I continue to push myself to learn new techniques and strive to challenge my skill set.

I would describe my style as clean and contrasting. My eye prefers simple lines and smooth movements. However, I cherish work that includes the sharp contrast between the subject and background. In each frame I take I desire to capture the individual's personality.

My work environment is carefree and relaxed. I absolutely hate an awkward or uncomfortable shooting environment. Modeling should be expressive and fun if not then what's the point? On a typical shoot I like to have music of the model's choosing playing and just a laid back type of attitude. I also enjoy communication from my models and try to pick their brains to create a truly creative frame.

I'm an avid Photoshop and Lightroom user and have no problem making unwanted stretchmarks or discolorations magically disappear.

Studio work is fun but let's get outside and explore! I think painting a subject with natural light will always be more pleasing to the eye than a giant soft box. Plus it truly takes skill to master natural light.

Right now I'm looking to build my portfolio and get some portrait images for large prints. I have some ideas floating around in my head for shoots and just need to find the right model.
