After completing my undergraduate degree and then travelling around (and modelling in) Europe for three years, I have now returned to Melbourne, Australia to leap into new adventures; to meet with both old friends and to discover new ones along my journey to help photographers create their art and to have some fun! As we will soon see, the only thing that has changed about my physique in the last three years is my hair: it's now so long I can sit on it even when it's bound in a high plait (which is not helpful for gymnastics)!

My specialty is artistic work. I love to portray the feminine form in its natural state of beauty and I have achieved some of my most prized images in this line of work. I am a competitive elite gymnast with ten years of experience in the sport under my belt. Gymnastics and modelling are my two greatest passions. With six years' experience as a model, my gymnastics training allows me to move fluidly between poses with few directions and my strength and flexibility allow me to hold "impossible" poses for as long as you'll need to me. Go on - challenge me to do an impossible pose! No one has succeeded so far - maybe you'll be the first!

I lack the sculpted mind of a photographer, whose symphonies play out before his or her lens and are captured, mere moments suspended in time, in imagery, but I can help those photographers mold their dreams into reality through our collaborations - using me as a vessel, a photographer can immortalize an idea, a moment, a dream for a photographer and that is a wonderful gift to give to someone. Since I began modelling, that's all I've ever wanted to do.

I first considered modelling as a fifteen-year-old. My mother told me that I had "the perfect figure" for swimwear and lingerie modelling. Well, teenagers can be pretty narcissistic and so was I, so I suppose you can imagine how that made me feel! Alas, I also happened to live in a very conservative town in a very conservative nation in which the feminine form is considered to be in someway sinful, for lack of a more apt word. And I rebelled against that, because I see the beauty of the female form in all of its varieties. So my peers shrieked at me when I wore my bikinis to the local swimming pool; they threw rocks at me when I wore dresses or skirts that revealed my knees; and one girl attempted to set my waist-length hair on fire in a school assembly.

They failed to stop me from celebrating femininity.

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy said: "Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever remains to them?" Many years before that, Shakespeare said of Julius Caesar's take on death:

"Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard,
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it will come."

I refused to kowtow to cowards: I would not don a hooded sweatshirt and track pants to conceal myself as though mine were a figure, a person, of whom I should be ashamed. And so I received death threats, I was attacked on the streets - I stopped counting the number of physical attacks when it surpassed the number thirteen, upon which momentous occasion a boy threatened to burn my face with a lit cigarette. That was nothing though - a few weeks prior to that incident I'd disarmed a switchblade-wielding savage who was screeching that she was going to slice my face up. This is where I come from and when photographers ask why I lack the inhibitions of young women my age, I believe it to be due to these experiences.

I was signed to my first agency at the age of fifteen in a small town, but dreamed of making it on my own in Melbourne. So as soon as I turned eighteen I fled to Australia, where I began modelling and studying. Now, finally, I can help the world, in whatever tiny way I am able to, embrace femininity. I have now modeled in Edinburgh, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, Melbourne, Sydney, and on location shoots right across Queensland and the Northern Territory in Australia.

As well as the beauty of artistic work, I am drawn to the thrill of glamour, lingerie and swimwear modeling. I have my own lingerie and swimwear wardrobe, purchased with the explicit intent of use only for shooting. Therefore, my lingerie and swimwear is never used off set. The same applies to my fashion wardrobe - you will never see scuffed heels or loose threads on my person while we are working together because I do not use my wardrobe unless I am shooting in an item from it (and this wardrobe is huge: it is overtaking my home. It currently fills two bedrooms and it's threatening to invade the rest of the house as well. If we don't do it soon I will be buried forever in a sea of clothes, stilettos, bikinis and underwear, which on the face of it doesn't sound too bad, but how will I learn that double layout somersault dismount I'm gunning for on the uneven bars if I am to be buried alive in my own wardrobe?).

I'm not going to insist that you simply believe me when I tell you that I am "reliable," "punctual" or "down to earth." I will prove it to you, instead. I supply my own HMUA and can do my own hair and makeup myself anyway. I will shoot anywhere in the country provided that my transportation and, if necessary, accommodation costs are covered.
