My name is Sabrina Williams, I'm currently attending high school, and I am a self-taught aspiring photographer. I was born with a fatal liver disease so most of my life I have been in and out of hospitals and barely able to make it to school. I started toying with photography when I was 14 and pretty much fell in love with it. I had no experience with cameras and had no idea how to become a kick-ass photographer but somehow managed to flourish in it. I would say that my photography has a dark edge to it. Though I hate horror movies, I love halloween, scary TV shows, and am obsessed with gore. I'd like to think of myself as a cross between a fashion and horror photographer. It's not just about blood and guts, however. I also am really into writing stories, and somehow mingled that talent with my photography. Each photograph I take has a story within it. When I take a picture of a girl lying dead in the woods with blood all over her, I have her entire life story written in my head. I am telling the world of her pain and suffering with one single image. Now seeing as I am so young most would say I am inexperienced, but I disagree. Just because I am 18 that doesn't mean I don't have the same passion and ambition in photography as a professional. I am planning to go to college and major in photography and hopefully work my way up the latter to being the pro-photographer I know I can become.
