Erica Monet' Durousseau is an American Fashion designer, originally from Lake Charles,
Louisiana. She began sewing after her mother, a master seamstress, gave her a sewing
machine 8 years ago. Since then Erica has created unique, one of a kind fashion
pieces for friends, family and a growing clientele list in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Erica received a Bachelors Degree in Broadcasting and Communications from
Grambling State University where she attended on a n athletic scholarship. It was in
college that she discovered her keen eye for fashion and styling, joining a student modeling
troupe and helping to design fashion shows on campus. Much of Erica's inspiration
was cultivated through travel to Austrailia, Fiji, England, Belize, Honduras and several parts of South America.

Grabbing ideas from different cultures and experiences, Erica's creativity in fashion
displays freedom, chaos and undefined trends. She has designed costumes for the hit TV Series "Dance Moms'', worked on set as a stylist with John Cena, and she is also a New Orleans Fashion Week Veteran, currently working on her 2015 line. Her work is currently featured in the November 2014 issue of Art+Design New Orleans Magazine.
