interpreting the post-industrial body

Update, March 2023  If anyone still bothers to read these: Local models, I'm actively gearing up to shoot as soon as the rain breaks and seeking talent. Please reach out if interested, this is one of the rare windows when there are few requirements. Any experience level is OK, with or without clothes. Basically I'm looking to test a few ideas and need collaborators to do that. Local (within about 100 miles of Eureka) shoots are sometimes possible on very short notice, other locations may require planning ahead.

I'm shooting primarily outdoors in the landscape at the moment, and have access to some amazing natural locations.

General Information

This profile is intended to showcase my art nude work (and occasionally a few other things). 

I'm an art and alternative photographer with extensive experience. I started as a photojournalist and street photographer; even though I now photograph as a creative outlet rather than for profit, that early experience still manifests as a preference for working on location with natural light and shooting in a spontaneous manner. I'm based on the northern California coast and travel frequently.

Currently accepting selective tf* (trade) shoots. 

Who I'm looking for:  Models willing to be creatively engaged in the shoot, and interested in creating more than just another pretty picture.  Unusual looks are encouraged.  I like to work with bright, authentic people.

Current concepts: Most of my current work falls within one of three concepts: On-location art nudes in the altered/human-made post-industrial landscape; On-location art nudes in natural settings; and occasional fashion work. I'm (mostly) taking a break from working in the studio for now. 

Note that I'm currently mentoring several local young photographers, and can facilitate networking as appropriate.

Travel: Chicago in June or July.
