---------------------------MY STORY------------------------------

I woke up one day in the middle of my second year of college and realized I wanted only to be a makeup artist. Up until then I was studying art and taking general education classes in college, with plans of majoring in Illustration. But I knew deep down it wasn't what my heart wanted. What I wanted was to follow my dream, to become a makeup artist.

I've had this strange gravitational pull to makeup, ever since I could remember. When I got to high school I watched countless videos, read countless books, articles, and beauty blogs. Eventually I started experimenting with makeup on myself, and then on my friends. I would even take pictures, to test how my work looked under flash photography. I eventually started to freelance, occasionally I'd get gigs with everyday women I'd found through craigslist. Now I work in the cosmetics department of Macy's, so I've worked with many brands including Chanel, Dior, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, Lancome, ect. And of course, I still freelance...and I now am currently in search of the perfect makeup artistry school so that I may become certified in my craft.

Makeup is undeniably my passion...it is truly an art, that when mastered creates a perfect piece. It's more than just blush, lipstick, and mascara...it's about UNITY. It's about combining the right shades and colors and shapes to create perfection. It's about making people feel as beautiful on the inside as you make them look on the outside. It's about confidence. It's about attitude. It's about helping people to see the beauty they possess that they didn't realize they had...it's what I was put on this earth to do.

I love editorial, I love the runway, I love doing events, but I also love working with everyday women. I'm joining model mayhem in hopes of meeting more potential clients, and looking forward to making connections, and making friends in the beauty/fashion industry.
