About Me

Art for the sake of art
I am an actor primarily but I have model professionally since 2016. Since then, I have been keeping busy with performing as a stage actor with varying styles and looks for whatever the show calls for.

My bio as per my last professional credit:
Leland Leger is an accomplished union actor, lighting designer, sound engineer, set designer and technical director, photographer, model, bodybuilder, artist among many things. He does not believe in the philosophy of telling yourself "No" when it comes to learning a new skill or performing something that is out of the realm of possibilities. Through what he states are his only two skills: Learning anything and working hard, he has become a professional artist in several fields while being successful in many other avenues of life despite many failures.

As an actor, he has performed on stage with Evolution Theatre Company as Harrison Blythe in the area premiere of The Vultures by Mark Ridge in addition to being a sound board operator for Cabaret. He has also taught theatre for Upward Bound through Columbus State Community College. He's a four time Theatre Round Table nominee as Best Actor, Lighting Designer x2, and for stage combat choreography. He's worked Theatre Columbus State for a number of years in several roles as their technical director, actor, lighting designer, sound designer, as well as stage manager. Leland has performed as Doyle Trigorin for Stupid Fucking Bird, Commander Swan for It Can't Happen Here, in film roles as Marcus for Immortal Combat: The Code, and a stunt actor for Assassin's Game. He works in theatre tech as well for GCP Players for The Slipper and the Rose as well as The Addams Family, WYART for In the Heights as a lighting designer and was their 2019 season technical director. Leland is a member of Society of American Fight Directors as well as a member of Actors Equity Association
End Credit

I am proud of the many accomplishments I have; however, I am always looking forward to the next greater challenge. I would not have gotten as far as I have without the support and aid of those around me.
