I fell into modeling by accident as a teenager when I was pursuing a career as a ballet dancer. I began to hear appreciation for my body awareness and ability to compose interesting poses from dance movements. I was surprised but glad to participate in projects that utilized both my love of movement and an extensive appreciation of fashion and photography. As I grew as a dancer and mover, I also came into more and more model work. Some jobs were for clothing companies and many were for photographers' portfolios who were interested in trying out new ideas with movement. I want to be a member of the Model Mayhem community to continue to explore how my dancing, acting, and modeling talents can be used as a means of supporting myself! I have done quite a bit of work for mere experience and fun, but am now realizing the potential of a more substantial career. I believe all artists (in front and behind the camera) deserve to be compensated and valued for their time & efforts! :)
