My name is Tamara Joy Channel and I am a single mother, a sister of many and a daughter of two parents that have watched me struggle with my weight gain over the years. I have had many storms that me and my have been through. I have tried all the diets and even had weight loss surgery, which in turn had to be reversed due to many infections. I have decided that even though my body is not a size 12 or even 14 it’s still my temple, it’s still beautiful and ever imperfection on my body tells my story. I love me. I love fashion and I love uplifting not only plus size women but all females. I believe I would be a great candidate for plus size modeling because I love to recognize other women who are accomplishing goals. I think it is imperative to network and create new business and personal relationships with others who share this common interest or passion for self-love, uplifting one another and of course fashion. I want to be take part in changing the perception or stereotype that beauty depends on your size. I want to be comes in all shapes and shades. I love to stand out and I walk with my head up high when I know others are judging me for my appearance or my size. It inspires and motivates me to keep on pushing and succeeding. I want to achieve what others feel is impossible. Plus size modeling would only continue to uplift my self-esteem. I have a very contagious personality so when others see that I am happy representing plus size women, there is a chance that other women would be encouraged to improve their own self-esteem and realize that anything is possible if you work hard for it.
