Daphne Kan (Hui Chuan ) is from Taiwan. She has been always fascinated with beauty in all aspects. She is a Vancouver based hair and makeup artist with extensive professional experience in the various areas of the makeup industry. She is noted for working alongside award winning and high profile photographers, top models, fashion stylists, run ways and those in the film industry and host makeup workshop.

Daphne is not only a professional makeup artist but also a licensed esthetican. She started working at well-known North American company, Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios, after graduating from PROTE’GE’ School with a diploma in Esthetics and Beauty Therapy. She performed at the top of her ‘Makeup Images’ class, being acknowledged as the best in her class at doing makeup for photoshoots. At Merle Norman, she did makeup looks for day events, night events ,bridal events, graduation and prom events as well as giving makeup lessons.

Daphne continues to make a name for herself in the industry. She has participated in Vancouver Fashion week and Men’s Fashion Week in 2012, 2013, 2014, beauty pageant events and charity events. She continues to pursue her makeup and beauty education through various workshops and classes. Daphne strives to immerse herself in the fashion and beauty industry and is able to apply makeup with a fashion forward eye and breadth of knowledge.

Daphne is passionate about delivering the most beautiful looks for not only brides but all women.
